Verizon’s Glens Falls call center, which employs 50 people and was slated to close, would remain open under the contract agreement reached at the end of last week, the Post-Star of Glens Falls reported this morning.
It’s not clear whether jobs would be added; the agreement calls for the hiring of 1,300 additional call center employees in Verizon’s service area from Massachusetts to Virginia.
